Employment We represent employees in wage & hour disputes with their employers following termination. We represent employees and subsequent employers in disputes over non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. We represent employees in disputes over stock ownership, stock vesting programs, and stock option plans. We have represented employees in disputes over stock option plans, including incentive stock option plans (ISOPs) and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Bob McGaughey is past Chair of the Oregon State Bar Business Litigation Section. We have represented employee/beneficiaries of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in a federal lawsuit involving allegations that the principal owner-manager had been using company funds to pay personal expenses and where, after the sale of a company, the majority owner tried to deny the ESOP beneficiaries their fair share of the sale proceeds. Representative/Broker Employment Disputes We have represented a number of registered representatives in employment or termination disputes with their brokers/advisors.
